Of course He patiently directs me to His Word and says, "Love Me, Love others, bring Me glory".
But wait. But how? I want the exact steps. Sigh.
Then I proceed to fill out a to do list that far outweighs my to Want to do list. I just want to paint. Of course there is laundry to do, bills to pay, errands to run, ...the usual. There are kids to nurture, tears to dry, stories to be heard, ...the lovely.
He nudges me. Can it be any more clear than this?

since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24
So for now I will live in my to-do's with a thankful heart; and when I manage to squeeze in my daily painting -even if it's in the very late night, I will remember to thank Him as well. Good is good, as is this glorious life.
