While I went off to paint in Paris, Dana and Gary of Fingerpainting, came down to apply my color palette throughout the house.
When I returned from France it hit me that I was not up for such a monumental task.
In my panic stupor who should offer help, but my dear friends Kim and Cathy. They got me organized, taught me so much about refinishing furniture, and brought true joy back to the project. A lot was accomplished in that three day whirlwind.
...and how to make my bed!
Then I was left on my own to complete a LONG list of projects. Newly organized and less overwhelmed, I set out to finish as much as possible before my return to Northern California (The shoeboxes of Operation Christmas Child take priority!) Kim and Cathy checked in regularly and many others pitched in to help. Thankful for my friend Kristy, for Simone an Amanda, for Bob and Cindy, For Maria, and for my dear friend, Elvia, as well as my sweet son Patrick and his friend, Josh, who lent their muscles to the project, plus my girl, Madeline always there to point me back to Jesus on the hard days. Oh, and of course my biggest cheerleader, my mom! (What academy award speech is complete without a mom shout out? But it really is true- she's the best!) It's not nearly as hard with so many people giving love, encouragement and a hand!
That's messy me- spraying patio furniture feet caked in primer- YIKES!
the mystery is solved!
