Welcome to the newest brainchild of Renée Ortiz…

SHE/THEY Gallery is a community driven space built with healing and reparations in mind. The gallery was founded in 2022 by Reneé Ortiz (she/her) and Mal Ortiz (they/them) as a space for Woman and Gender Expansive artists to be featured and given a voice in the predominantly cisgender, male art world.

Currently in the US, 87.4% of the works in the collections of all major US museums belong to (cisgender) men. She/They gallery’s mission is to flip this statistic and champion underrepresented groups.

The space hosts a regular rotation of curated shows featuring exciting up and coming artists.
